Plymstock Oaks RFC

This fun and exciting camp is rugby themed, but not rugby focussed, and will keep any child engaged no matter their interest in the sport. A range of games to suit all ages and abilities will be managed by our experienced community coaches, with a focus on providing all of the attendees with something they enjoy. The day runs from 0830 and runs through until 1630 and includes a hot meal for lunch, however, we recommend parents pack plenty of snacks to keep the children well fed all day.

Girl's Rugby Taster Session (10 - 16yrs)

Plymstock Oaks RFC

This session is aimed at any girls aged 10 and up, and is structured to provide them with a relaxed introduction to rugby. The day is split into multiple short sessions that focus on each of the core skills (passing, catching, kicking and tackling), as well as providing plenty of time for socialising with their new friends and playing games. The primary focus is fun and the emphasis is on safety. By providing a very friendly atmosphere to learn the fundamentals of the game, it is hoped that the girls will feel less intimidated, and are more likely to return to the regular training sessions running throughout the summer. Our retention rate from previous camps has been exceptional, and is testament as to how much the girls have fun.
